* Coverage varies, but our experience is that checks typically have less than 5% coverage. Recently we tested some QuickBooks Voucher Checks and found that they had 1 to 2% coverage. This means that a 1,500 page cartridge could easily last 3,750 pages or more. That said, the toner could last that long, but in many cases HP has engineered the toner cartridge to last only so long. So the drum or other component could fail before the cartridge actually runs of toner. We’ve found that typically HP toner cartridges can print double their page rating assuming they haven’t ran out of toner.
